Grooming horses
We will teach you how to perform these tasks. This volunteer opportunity involves catching and haltering the horses, leading them to the hitching Rail and the grain pan, using a curry-comb and brush to remove dirt and excess hair, picking up their feet and using a "hoof pick" to remove caked-on mud and pebbles, and giving them their 'meds' if needed.
